UAE Carries Out Covert Attacks in Iran

Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, new and sensational information has emerged. Citing the US media outlet Wall Street Journal, Reuters reported that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been secretly conducting military attacks inside Iran.

The report stated that an oil refinery on Iran’s Persian Gulf island of Lavan was attacked in early April. The UAE is claimed to have been involved in that assault. The report also mentioned the conduct of multiple covert operations in various locations across Iran from March to May 2026.

However, the UAE has not officially acknowledged responsibility for these attacks. Reuters, on the other hand, also stated that they could not independently verify this information.

The report further indicated that in response to these operations, Iran launched thousands of missile and drone attacks, leading to renewed tension across the entire Middle East.

According to analysts, if these allegations prove true, it could render relations between Iran and the Gulf Arab states even more conflict-ridden and further complicate the regional security situation.
